This building is located in a small historical town of 2,000. Construction began in 1936 and was completed in 1939. The Armory is currently the home of the HHD 1144th Transportation Motor Transport Battalion.

Landmark Trivia

  • In September of 1939, the Women’s club sponsored an appearance of Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt at the Armory.
  • The first unit to be stationed in the armory was the 130th Infantry. They had been assigned to Delavan since 1922 and remained there until 1947.
