Big Bay Point Light is the only operational lighthouse with a bed and breakfast. It is reputed to be haunted, and the novel and movie Anatomy of a Murder were inspired by a murder at the lighthouse.

The Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is home to an extensive collection of artifacts and archives relating to the history of skiing. It contains displays on skiers, trophies, clothing and equipment. There is a gift shop, library and theater.
